Focus on the art

i have follow his blog for about 3 weeks. i love his video. i keep wondering what sort of camera and editing software that he use for his artwork.

luckily there's formspring.so i asked him that question and last night he answerd on his tumblr.

Q: What camera/editing software do you use?

A: I get asked this a lot. I shoot on a Canon 7d and have two lenses (50mm f/1.8 and 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6) I use lights when I can. I cut on Final Cut. 

Everything I shoot is pretty guerrilla style, and I don’t really use a tripod that much (even though I probably should)

I’m extremely blessed to have the equipment that I do, but don’t think that having nice gear is the only way you can create nice work. There are hundreds of filmmakers who are 10 trillion times better than me and just use a Sony handycam and iMovie.

Software gets outdated and new cameras are built every day. Focus on the art, and it won’t matter what gear you use.

as you notice that he also mention his friend Anna. she's an excellent photographer. love her artwork. this reminds me about my super duper sonyericcson 750i's camera.but now its broken already and i very upset with the iphone camera.lame.
